Zane Bennett Contemporary Art Gallery

Santa Fe, New Mexico A new project in Santa Fe’s Railyard District, the Zane Bennett Contemporary Art gallery, represents an interesting twist in the realm of adaptive reuse. The goal of the project was to create additional gallery space and improved HVAC building systems.
The project was designed and managed by SMPC Senior Associate and Project Manager John A. Padilla. The renovation concept was to build a “new” building inside an “old” building. The exterior facade holds true to the building’s original concept, but the interior is all new, modern adaptive reuse.
