Passenger Screening: Albuquerque International Airport
The Passenger Screening Level 3 Expansion is a 30,000 square foot security checkpoint for passengers and carry-on baggage screening. The main checkpoint area includes passenger queuing, eight security screening positions, security offices, a break room, and passenger search rooms. The existing connector will remain for arrival passengers and will be secured with doors against unauthorized entry. The existing security offices, located east of the connector, will be converted and expanded into a waiting area for the family and friends of arriving passengers.
Concessions Expansion: Albuquerque International Airport
As part of an upgrade for the airport that forms the “gateway to New Mexico”, this remodel includes seven retail concession areas, eight specialty retail kiosks, new custodial and maintenance rooms, lighting and finish enhancements within the lobby/concourses areas, an internet center with seven terminals, upgraded flight information displays, and retail tenant support spaces.
Fuel Farm: Albuquerque International Airport
The Fueling Operations Building houses several support services for the Jet-A Fuel Farm. The 9,400 square foot facility includes an administrative component, a maintenance area, and miscellaneous support spaces.
The administrative component provides fueling management, accounting, operations, field supervision and training for the fuel farm and for aircraft fueling at the Sunport. The maintenance area services the aircraft fueling vehicles and a variety of ground services vehicles and equipment. It also includes the control room for the fuel farm operations. Support spaces include lab, fire foam support, and electrical spaces for the Fuel Farm.
III Hangar (Eclipse): Albuquerque International Airport
Initially, the Sunport III Hangar is a 67,400 square foot manufacturing facility leased to Eclipse Aviation for final assembly and painting operations. The factory provides open floor space for up to four tenant-provided paint booths and two alodine coating booths. The adjacent support spaces enclose paint storage and mixing rooms, administrative offices, employee functions, and mechanical/electrical/ janitorial spaces. The design will easily facilitate conversion to a commercial air carrier aircraft storage and/or maintenance facility.
