Presbyterian Clinics

SMPC developed the prototype and several test case clinics located in the metropolitan Albuquerque area.  The southwestern tradition of simple forms, familiar materials, and appropriate ornamentation is reflected in the various designs.

Each clinic is designed around the same basic module concept, providing economy, flexibility and a comfortable space for patients. A common core has the physician’s lounge and office suite, staff lounge with toilet and shower facilities and co-joins each module which has its own small waiting area, a central nursing area, and spaces for two physicians to practice efficiently. Outpatient services provided include radiology, laboratory, pharmacy, physical therapy, psychology, surgery, and a community meeting rooms with stunning views of the Sandia Mountains.
